From either if you come from abroad or from any other place in Argentina, flights depart from Buenos Aires to El Calafate Airport. There are several combinations from cities such as Bariloche, Ushuaia, Rio Gallegos, Esquel and Puerto Madryn.

Buses depart daily from the Rio Gallegos International Airport and from Puerto Natales (Chile). By car from Rio Gallegos through route 5, Route 40 and Route 11 (320 kmts)
